Uniform
All children, including those in Nursery, are expected to attend school wearing school uniform because this enables them to feel part of the wider school and fosters a strong sense of belonging.
Whitehall’s school colours are green and grey/black and white/yellow.
- Trousers: tailored, grey or black, long or short
- Skirts/pinafores: grey
- Polo shirts with school motif (available from school) or shirts/blouses: white or yellow, long or short sleeved
- Sweatshirts with school motif (available from school) or jumpers/cardigans: green
- Shoes: black (low heels; no trainers)
- Book bag with school logo (available from school)
We also stock reversible, showerproof jackets/fleeces and woolly hats (neither of these are compulsory, but they look really good!).
PE clothes
Children will come ready dressed in their PE kit on PE days. They can wear:
- tracksuits or shorts
- t-shirts and sweatshirts
- trainers or pumps
All of the above are available from high street shops and supermarkets.
Jewellery, etc.
Bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc., should not be worn in school for safety reasons. Dangling earrings and other forms of body piercing may not be worn. Ear studs may be worn but should be removed for PE.
Watches are allowed in school but should be removed for PE. These should be placed in the teachers’ care.
