Amazing reading work for this young lad who has English as an additional language. He has read 48 books! He sure does have AMBITION!
Year One Racers are zooming in!
24 Books read! What a brilliant achievement, a worthy medal winner. This young man collected all 6 of the coloured medals in year 1, so I expect great things from him this year in Year 2!!
Hey, that's my medal!!
One of each glorious colour. Red = 9 books, Orange = 18 books and Yellow = 27 books. The best thing is that all of these children have not only read the books but also done the extra book work on Characters, Feelings, Settings and written Book Reviews in their reading diaries. We are so proud of them.
We have a whole stack of them this week. The race is getting furious!
And just check out the amazing reading diary entry above! This is what we expect from all our amazing reading racers. So let's get writing!!
