  • Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II

    The country will be collectively mourning the death of Queen Elizabeth II on this day, 19th of September and so a Bank Holiday has been declared.  School will be closed all day Monday and re-open on Tuesday the 20th.  Please try and watch some of the funeral as this is an historic moment in the life of your child and something that hasn't happened for 70 years.

    You will be able to watch the Funeral Service live on the BBC and other News Channels.

  • Potential Closure due to HEAT

    Please keep your eyes and ears open for the potential closure of our school on Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon at 1pm.  If the temperatures are as high as are predicted then (as our school has no air conditioning and due to our grade two listing some rooms have limited windows that open) we might need to close the school if it gets too hot for the children.  Please try and prepare yourself for this with potential child care should it be necessary for us to call you to come and pick your child up at 1pm.

  • Year 2 Trip to Rhyl 7.7.22

    RHYL is BRILL!  Year 2 will need to be at school at 8 o'clock for the long journey to Rhyl.  They will have a lovely air-conditioned coach and biscuits and polos to eat and suck all the way.  They will also be singing the songs for their 1001 Arabian Nights performance.  No learning time is wasted!
