The 'Gajjar' Tree
The red hawthorn that has been planted to remember the 35 years of service from Mrs Gajjar.
It was wonderful to be able to welcome Mrs Gajjar back to school so that we could unveil the 'Gajjar' tree. She did the most important thing to ensure that the tree lasts as long in our school as she did: she watered it! The tree will give us all year interest as it produces wonderful dark pink blossom in Spring, lush green leaves in Summer, yellow and orange leaves in Autumn and red berries for the birds in Winter. It was lovely that Mrs Gajjar's husband, son and granddaughter were able to come in for the presentation.
