NEU Strike Action
Teachers in the NEU will be striking on the 1st of February and in March on the 1st, 15th and 16th.
While supporting our colleges in their right to strike we have also done our best to keep the school open to as many children as is possible. On the four days of strike action we are able to keep the whole of Year 2 open and the Morning and Afternoon Nursery. We ask parents of Reception children and Year 1 to keep their children at home for those 4 days. If you are unable to keep your child at home because you work, please make sure you have returned the slip to school giving us that information. Children who are vulnerable or looked after will be attending school on these days.
Even though this is our plan, obviously we may have further issues with staffing and may have to close.
